Harkov is the second largest city in Ukraine and can be found in the northeastern part of the country. The gay scene in Harkov is quite small but there are two main gay venues which are known as Harkov gay bars and are very popular with the local gay community. The Harkov gay bars and clubs which are available are very busy and usually very crowded so make sure you arrive early if you want to be seated!
The first of the two gay venues is a Harkov gay bar called the Hobo Bar which is extremely popular with the younger crowd and is always very busy and rowdy. You can expect to have an awesome night at this bar and usually the drinks are on promotion. You can also expect good entertainment in the form of gay parties and events. They always have a good range of music playing and are very open to shows and parties of all sorts.
The second of the two gay venues is a Harkov gay bar called Zolotoye Café which is a popular drinking spot for a large portion of the local gay community. You can expect a mixed crowd here but it is an ideal place for meeting people and they regularly have promotions available. This Harkov gay bar isn’t strictly a gay bar so is classed as gay friendly but is still a great place to go and have fun with your friends.
